That is such a good quote and so true, but it's hard to watch our kids suffer and struggle. I wonder if God feels the same about us, or because He can see it all does it ease some of the hurt in watching us suffer and struggle? But no, I know how he feels about us and He must hurt just like parents hurt when their kids are going through a rough time.
