Blogaversary Party, Day 7 - New Things Brewing!

Coffee Brewing by mtypinski

Wow. The partying is almost over. Today is the last day to get your comments/promotions/etc. in for the drawing for the awesome prizes up for grabs. You have until 9pm Eastern Time. Wednesday I will announce the winners - be here to find out if you are among them! Okay, enough details already! Let's talk about the new things you are going to be seeing around here...

What's Brewing At Like A Warm Cup Of Coffee

New Home

Like A Warm Cup Of Coffee will soon be moving to a .com. Oh yes friends, blogspot will no longer be her home, so keep your eyes out for the official move (coming up soon) so you can move along with me!

New Thingy Do

Have you ever gone to one of your favorite blogs and wanted so badly to ask your bloggy friend a question or just say "hi?" I know I have. Sometimes it seems like the bigger a blog/website gets, the more "untouchable" the gal behind the blog is. I don't want you to ever feel like that with me. But, I am horrible with email. I think I'm getting better, but I am likely to read your email, sincerely mean to respond, but then get quickly distracted and forget about the whole thing. No more friends. I have decided to include a "chat" feature here...actually right over there on the right hand sidebar...see it? It says, "Coffee Talk." Whenever you see that I'm "online," feel free to say "hi" or ask me a question, or just leave me funny quotes - whatev! You get the point. I am accessible!

New Feature

I love to learn from Titus 2 women. No really, I mean I loooooooooove it. I want to soak up the wisdom and experience that older, godly women have...I crave their discipleship in my life. If you are anything like me, then you will adore my new "Lady of Wisdom" feature. Every month I will be highlighting a Titus 2 woman, starting with a Lady of Wisdom Interview. For the rest of the month you will see her picture and a link to the interview and her website (if she has one) on my sidebar.

*If you would like to nominate someone to be featured, please email me their name and if applicable, their blog. Tell me why you think they should be featured or how they have impacted your life.

I am super duper thrilled about this new feature, and to kick it off, the June "Lady of Wisdom" will be Sally Clarkson of WholeHeart Ministries (and author of two of the books in this giveaway, which she generously donated)!

New Giveaways

Saturdays from here on out will be known as "Saturday Score...Where You Score Free Stuff!" Yep, Saturdays are now going to be my official giveaway days. Isn't if fun to know that every weekend you can look forward to the possiblity of winning a fab prize?!

*If you want your business to be included in Saturday Score, email me and we'll "talk!"

Now it's that time again...

Super Awesome Businesses of the Day

I confess. I had no idea that Dayspring sold anything other than cards...and little stuffed lambs.

I was wrong! They sell super cute and affordable mugs, journals, books, art and jewelry!

Who knew?

Anywho, this necklace was already won by Debbie from The Queen Mommy for being my 300th "google friend." But have no fear...

"Life brings rain. Hope dances in the puddles."
...still up for the winning is Rain on Me , a 40 day devotional book by Holley Gerth.
"Rain on Me is a devotional journey to help you not only survive but thrive in the storms of life. A downpour of trials can be a force that destroys and washes away hope, or it can become a tool God uses to bring healing, growth, and new life to our hearts. Through God’s Word, reflection questions, and prayers that you can personalize, these forty devotions deliver encouragement and hope, guiding you as you respond to your circumstances."

Who wouldn't love some of these absolutely perfectly sweet art prints...

Incredible, right?!

There's more delightful prints where these came from! Just click here to see Miss Breezy's other lovely art. One winner will be a able to choose a print of their choice...what would you choose?

I guess talent just runs in this family! Breezy's sister, Emily Rose, is not only my amazing blog designer, she is also the creative genius behind this beautiful wall art (which I am planning on buying, so you all just stay away!)
At the same time, she is keepin' up with the trends by crocheting these very cute "pod pockets!" The purple one has your name written all over it! Go check out her shop to see all the pod pocket colors she offers and to tell me how much you love her graphic prints as well!

I am so looking forward to a new year of freshly brewed coffee...I sure hope you continue to join me!
Don't forget to come back tomorrow to see if you're a winner! (You're all winners to me! Hehe...it's getting late and I'm getting goofy!)

Sarah Mae - I've had to email you a couple times for clarification on stuff and you've emailed back so fast! Thanks! I do think your coffee talk (I might be calling it wrong) in the sidebar is awesome! :)

I would love to win the Tree House art - I have 2 sons and a daughter which is exactly what is featured in this piece of art! :)
Thanks!

oh i just adore the little boy reading in the window. since my blonde son (yeah i'm a half mexican brunette, now tell me how that happened) was in his toddler bed he would get up in the morning and read until i came to get him. and now that he's seven, he is still addicted to reading and that picture is totally him. precious.

That devotional looks great. I've been struggling to stay focused on God lately and make Him my first priority. Therefore, my life has been overwhelming me. My kids, my husband's stress and my messy house have taken over. Jeez, guess I needed to vent... Anyway, I'd love the devotional!

Dayspring has some really cute stuff. You can also do the free e-card thing on their website, which I love and used for Mother's Day.

That devotional book sounds awesome!

I also love that wall hanging and might have to fight you for it!

The pod cases are so cute. I like the purple, sage, and cornflower colors. I didn't see cornflower offered in the etsy shop, but it was on her site.

I love your blog so much that I don't know how you could make it better - but I know that you will do so with excellence so I look forward to seeing the changes. I love hearing that you want to be accessible. I think your personalism is part of what makes you so successful at this. Though we have never met face to face, and I hope some day we will, I feel I know you and consider you my friend. When I reference something from your blog to my husband, I always say, my friend, Sarah Mae, says... I think he thinks I am a little strange, but he just doesn't understand. :)

This is the blog party to attend! Sorry, I've been such a "wallflower."

Your changes sound awesome and it's easy to see that blogging has been such a positive influence in your life!

I'm not picky when it comes to winning free loot and all of the items up for grab are simply awesome!

Thanks!

Hi there,
I love your blog, chatted with you for about 3 seconds yesterday before I was pulled away by my 6 year old. I'm the one with the daughter who turns 1 year old tomorrow May 20th. My mind keeps going back to what I was doing one year ago today (being told I would have to be induced!). Anyway, I've been reading your blog for about 6 months now and love it. I'm also a coffee junkie, I look forward to my lovely cup of joe in the morning. And I'm a regular mom of 4 who needs the Lord, even more than I need my coffee.
So, nuff said. Keep up the awesome work you do on this blog!
Julianne

What a great post! I love hearing you share some of your thoughts - you're writing always makes me smile. :) I know I can feel intimidated even approaching anyone who has made it "big", but it's good to remember that they probably get as much a kick out of a random email as I do at my "littler" blog. ;)

Also, love the cofee talk idea! I've been thinking of putting up one of those for fashion-y questions/tips et cetera on my blog. Hmm.

God bless the rest of your day... :)

I've really enjoyed your fun, fun bloggy party this week! Looking forward to the wise woman feature ... we can all use more wisdom! I love Dayspring as well.

I love you Lady of Wisdom idea. Very nice.

Dear Sarah Mae - Thank you for the invitation to join your Party - it was great. But time is flying by and it's almost over - time for a short review:
Day 1 = let the party start with a great video of Sarah Mae introducing all the fun that would come during the week-long-party.
Day 2 = Sarah Mae, she 'fall-in-love-fridays' with a 'Hoover Wind Tunner Vacuum Cleaner' or maybe with the 'wedding picture in the pantry'. It was definitely not the 'when the house is a mess, only work on one room'-scenario. Did she get the 'Arte Y Pico Award' for her messy house - must check that with 'Lisa of Stop and Smell the Chocolates' or maybe the 'Lady of Wisdom Mr. Robin Brookshire' can help me with that. Am I ever 'pursuing wisdom'? 'Hefla!'
Day 3 = Treasure hunting and finding Hidden gems like a softball wife and a pink flamingo baby with a boogie obsession.
Day 4 = We learned that Sarah Mae is a sinner who can process with what's going on in her life and really can make friends. She is making money with doing what she loves and she is a tech savvy - depended on the free help from the internet. She figured out what her gifts/talents are and is married to a very understanding and supportive hubby.
Day 5 = All about time management, money, work at home, giveaways and BE YOURSELF
Day 6 = All I can think of is the Sumo-Fortune cookie.
Day 7 = NEWS - so exciting NEWS.

So if you missed this party - go back and just check out the posts of the last 7 days.

I had a blast and wish you all the best for the next year.
God bless you

Wow to all the new stuff - very exciting! Can't wait to see how everything turns out! It all sounds good to me Sarah Mae!

Those art prints are so cute, but I think I like the Tree House one the best. She's so talented! And I don't need an ipod pocket, but I love that Declaring His Righteousness print - it looks so neat. And you know I love DaySpring - LOL!

Sarah Mae, this has been a fantastic Blogaversary Party! I have loved it all. You definitely outdid yourself! You just better sit back and relax a bit after this. Eat some cake or something... :)

Have a blessed evening and don't stay up too late!

I can't wait to read about the Titus 2 women. Whenever I'm around an older, Godly woman I just eat up everything she says. What a great idea!

I love the Tree House piece of the 3 kids. My husband and oldest son were outside today building a fort and I could just imagine all three of my kids hiding out in there like in that picture.

You're awesome!
