Meet Caroline Mae - Pictures!

Thank you for all your kind comments - what a blessing to come home to such congrats!

Here is our sweet Caroline:

Sorry no pics of my face, but I don't know how you other women look so good after giving birth! Not me - I'm scary! Especially after this one - whew! I went to the hospital around 8pm thinking "I'm pretty sure I'm in labor, but it's probably just a false alarm." The little squirt came fast and furious, and after pushing for only five (extremely painful) minutes, I had her in the world (less than four hours after going into the hospital). Somewhere during the whole thing I bit my husbands neck and almost made him bleed (oops, sorry honey), but I swear they gave me a placebo in place of the fentanyl I was getting through an IV!
I can't even believe she is here! I am so over the moon I can hardly stand it! I also feel pretty good, so I am actually going to continue my "core lies" series (although a brain blip may occur from time to time!). After that I will have some guest posts here and there - they are WONDERFUL and I can't wait for you to read them.
Have a perfectly beautiful day enjoying all the blessings you've been given!

She's beautiful! Glad you had a relatively fast labor. :) Also glad that you're feeling so good.

She was born on my birthday! :) That's a good day.

Glad to see I'm not the only one who bites my husband during labor. HAHAH!
Congrats!

She is so adorable! I love all of that hair. She looks really alert and not the least bit smushed like my baby did.
BTW, I really think "somewhere during the whole thing I bit my husband's neck" needs it's own separate blog post.

I just had our 3rd in October and everyone kept saying after the 2nd one the rest just slide right out. I guess they were right because I too went to the hospital at 8:30 and 4 hours and 2 pushes later he was out. Sounds like your's was very similar.

I can't believe the hair she has! She's gorgeous!! Congratulations again!!!!

Haha, how on earth did you manage to bite his NECK? I'd think an arm or a hand might be easier to reach. Hmmm..Maybe this is something I'll understand when I have kids...?

She's adorable! I just LOVE it when babies pop out with a full head of hair! :)

So sweet! I like the picture
with all of you. I'm so glad you had an easy delivery.

Both of mine were quick and natural - they didn't even have time to get just a regular i.v. drip in me, much less any pain meds!

CONGRATS!!! She is so beautiful! Thank you for sharing the pictures with us! Glad you are feeling well and glad it was fast though sorry so painful.

I also looked very scary after giving birth. I still had my mascara on so by the time I was done giving birth - looked like I had 2 black eyes - LOL!

Continue your series if you feel up to it, but make sure to take it easy and don't overdo!

Nope, I don't have any pictures of myself after giving birth. That should definitely not be allowed :o)
