Lipstick (Check), Camera batteries (Check), SUPER CUTE MODEST OUTFIT (Check!)

Are you getting out those stylish clothes? Maybe adding a little curl to your hair? Some cute accessories?
I hope so because Thursday is our big day! The blogosphere will get a chance to see all your chic and modest outfits and see that YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE FRUMPY TO BE MODEST!!! :)
Spread the word and be prepared to link up! Can't wait! (For more details, click on the above button).

On a side note, I wanted to share some comments I received yesterday that included some great questions:
"Now I'm not saying I'm wearing any low cut booby showing shirts because I try to fully be aware of what other men are seeing but I wonder if even with that effort and covering them up if the fact that they are still noticeable is my fault? I would love to hear your thoughts on that."
"I can't help but wonder what are we to do if our husbands are the one's desiring us to wear clothes that accentuate our beautiful body parts... " as if to show us off"... ??? Then does this apply...Should we not please our husbands to save others?? Confused a bit on the modesty all the time ??????"
"In he summer we camp ALOT. My usual attire is a tank top (if it's really hot) or t shirt and either long shorts or jeans. My husband would love it if I wore shorts, but I'm not comfortable in shorter shorts because I feel that it could be 'stumbling' for someone else. At what point does comfort (in regards to temperatures) supersede making sure no one else's husband is looking?"

We will be tackling these and other questions next week, so be sure to come and check it out (and offer your own suggestions)!

I just caught up on your recent posts about modesty and thoroughly enjoyed reading them. Thank you for addressing this issue. You tempered your words about this *hot topic* with grace and love and have inspired lots of thought and questions.

Looking forward to your take on some of your commentors questions and the fashion show too!

I have been wondering about the same questions. Looking forward to your take on these matters.

This is such an important topic and one of my "hot button" issues in the church especially. If I ever get my designer duds on a dime series done, I can't wait to be able to link to this series numerous times, since you can bet the outfits will be modest. :)

I can't wait to see how you answer those questions!! You are doing such a good job with this series and I love it!

Also, I linked back to you today about the fashion show :)

i agree that you are doing a great job with this series. What a great idea and I look forward to seeing the fashion show.
Interesting questions some have asked. I think if your husband wants you to dress in this fashion, you can certainly do this at home, providing you do not have teenage boys. Perhaps this is another topic to discuss!
If he isn't on the same page as you in regard to modesty, it should definitely be a topic of discussion between you two. Your body is his and what goes on at home is your business, but making others stumble is his business as well. Maybe we can discuss this, too.

Wow, those are great questions-looking forward to your answers. I've just got to say (and this is from experience) that if he's looking for it, he will find it. I only say this because of some letters we've recieved regarding this issue (my husband is a youth pastor). We've "covered" this issue a lot and have learned that if you're looking for even a hint of skin you'll find it. At some point we have to realize that sometimes the issue is not ours (as women) but others around us. That's not to say we shouldn't care about this or give up dressing modestly, but I say this only to make the point that modesty is a two way street. Our job is to do what we can not to make anyone stumble, others jobs are to deal with their issues on this. Hope that makes sense. Looking foward to other thoughts on this! (and to seeing some cute outfits!)

This is a subject that I find fascinating.

I could be the cover girl of Conservative Clothing Weekly.
