It's nearly black! The good news is it washes out in 28 washes. (My husband says I have to wash my hair everyday!)

My husband rocks because he loves me even after I did this to my hair!

It will really dry out your hair but I'v heard that dishwashing detergent will help. Good luck!

Hey, you are preaching to the choir here. I finally just cut my hair short and kept cutting it short until it was gone...and oh yeah,,,I bought a wig..LOL...and a lot of headbands and scarves...
I have gone that dark before too! I recently cut mine pretty short and put blonde back in it.
I change my hair up probably too often!
Just put some bronzer on & it will blend with the darker hair until it washes out!!

I think your hair looks great. Earlier this week my hubby and I were going out for tea. As I was getting ready - I asked him, "Like my hair?" To which he replied, "mmm is it meant to look all fuzzy like you just got out of bed?" .... Ah, no actually - it's not! So he shrugged and said "Ok" and that was that. I asked my mother-in-law (babysitting for the evening) what she thought of it, "Looks really great - love the way it is sitting on your shoulders."
Mental note - don't ask a males opinion of modern hair-styles...
During the first year we were married my husband came home from work while I was in the bathroom drying my freshly cut hair. It was pretty much the way I was going to wear it...anyway, he came in and I asked him what he thought. His exact words were "I'd like it if it was fixed." Big mistake. Big. Huge. You have a very understanding, sweet husband (even though I think it looks good!)
(And my husband has since learned to be a little more tactful when it comes to my hair.)

i don't think it looks bad at all! but hair changes are a big adjustment for our hubbies :) going black is easier than going blonde! lol! i tried the blonde thing and ended up what austin affectionately termed "pumpkin spice" - now it's his little nickname for me! :)
I love it! I do the 28 washes too! I can't commit to it forever!!
