Giveaways are fun and all, but they are all about luck. A contest, however, gives you a real shot at winning the prize.
Before I tell you what the contest is, take a look at what you can win:
Cute mug huh? It's from DaySpring and it (along with a bag of delicious gourmet coffee or tea) is all yours if you can come up with a fitting "tag" line for my blog.
Details:
Right now my tag line is, "a place to curl up and begin your day." While I really really like what it says now, it doesn't convey what my blog is all about. I need something, that in one sentence, can give people an idea of what they will find here at Like A Warm Cup Of Coffee. Peruse my blog, perhaps starting with the About page, and then hit me with your best tag lines by leaving a comment or writing them in a post on your blog and linking up! You can offer one or twenty-one! I am hoping the prize motivates you all to help me out creatively! Thank you!
Your Turn!
- Share some advice, wisdom, practical applications, tips, etc. that you think would benefit and motivate others.
*Make sure to link directly to your MMM post and then link back here!
Discussion questions for week two of Habakkuk are up in the forum.

Every time I read "Like a warm cup of coffee..." I always think "..state farm is there". But I will do my best to come up with something better than that! lol...
I don't have a blog but my tag line would be...
Like a Warm Cup of Coffee--Encouragement to Enjoy Anytime and Great to Share with Friends
Rachel C.
Refreshing your spirit at the start of the day.
Renewing your mind, refreshing your spirit.
The perfect way to wake up your heart.
Encouragement, friends, and fun each day.
Brewing up blessings to warm your heart.
Waking up the heart.
Stirring up the spirit.
Awaken to the aroma of the Word.
Let me know if you want more... =)
Bringing motivation on the journey of a Christian woman.
To energize one another each day on the path to godly womanhood.
Starting each day filled with the energizing desire to taste and see the goodness of the Lord.
Encouragement for the soul, energy for the day ahead.
PS. I love the cup!!
Savoring God's overflowing grace.
Fill your heart to the brim.
Curl up and be refreshed.
Filled with the warmth of His love.
Savoring the outpouring. (you could add "of grace" or of "His grace" or use love).
Brimming with blessings for the heart.
Okay, I think I need some coffee now =)
What a great contest! My little brain can't think of anything inspiring this morning (need more coffee!) but I love everyone else's ideas-I like the one about encouragement for the soul, energy for the day ahead.
Like a warm cup of coffee...
-be lifted, inspired and motivated.
-a place to relax, refresh & renew!
-prepare your day & your heart for the journey ahead.
Those are just a couple off the top of my head. Off to think some more. BTW, love your blog!
I am *terrible* at these types of things, but I love some of the ideas your other commenters have come up with! How creative - you're going to have a hard time deciding!
Like a warm cup of coffee...
...warm hands, tender heart, sweet friendship, precious Savior...
...awakening your senses to redeeming the time...
...warming your hands while your feed your heart and soul...
...starting your day God's way...
...awakening your senses with the sweet aroma of God's grace...
...warming your hands, feeding your soul...
I couldn't help it... I keep thinking of the verse that says: "good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over,..." It comes from Luke 6:38 the middle portion of that verse. That is how I think of your blog Sarah Mae. Everytime I visit it just overflows with good from the Lord in you and your guests!
Also, Psalms 116:13 "I will take the cup of salvation and call upon the name of the Lord." I just love the Holy Scriptures! Bless you all and all the ideas are great that I have read! This is so fun!
Hey! I found you through Lisa at Stop and Smell the Chocolates, and I just had to stop by. After all, I love coffee too.
Hmmm... how else can we convey HIS love through a warm cup of coffee??
I'll have to look around...
Ginger
Not sure what my tag line would be for you but I am going to be working on it today.
Have a blessed day!
A place to get renewed,rejuvenated,refueled.
I don't know how you're going to pick! There are so many great suggestions!
i love contests! ha-i'm just a little competitive!
maybe something like...Truth your soul will savor. or Truth your heart will savor...
i dunno, I'll keep thinking...

Oh I totally understand! When my little one was still getting up at night, I treasured every moment of sleep! :) God knows what we need. There were occasions I did get up early, but not regularly like I am striving for now.
Knowing my "luck" (though I don't believe in it), as soon as I get the routine down, I'll get pregnant again. LOL
Blessings!
Want sugar in it?
No I am just kidding! I read what these ladies wrote you and I really like these tag lines. I am sure you'll find one you like!
Thanks so much for publishing my post. Sorry for not talking to you before but I wasn't blogging last week.
- full to the brim and running over
-...with a dear friend
-with vanilla and cream
-shared from the heart
-on a cold rainy day
-with sweets on the side
-and a heart to heart chat
-across the porch with God
-sipped and savored
-flavoring the world around me
That mug is gorgeous!!! Love it!
I think I used all my brain power on tagline ideas the other day! :)
There are lots of great ideas here though and a couple of nice ones on the links so far. I know you will come up with something great my friend!!
Thanks for all the lovely birthday wishes! :)
like a warm cup of coffee -- blended to perfection with a dash of savvy..
lol
How about something like:
"...a moment to breathe, go inward and feel the inspiration."
Love your blog and seeing you on 31DBBB
ok off to do today's assignment!
Aloha!
How about...WHERE THE H*&# ARE THE EASTER PICTURES????????
Love, Me
Refills are free!
Refreshment for your heart.
"My cup runneth over" (Psalm 23)
"in the morning my prayer comes before You" (Psalm 88)
"Satisfy us in the morning with your steadfast love" (Psalm 90)
"Let me hear in the morning of your steadfast love, for in you I trust. Make me know the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul." (Psalm 143)
the one from Psalm 90 is my favorite, because although coffee satisfies the tastebuds every morning, only the steadfast love of Christ can truly satisfy. :)
"...when your soul needs it most!"
I love the mug and will look forward to reading your new tag line.
I just love the wording that you have now. It is so inviting and comforting! I am so thankful to have found your blog. I keep coming and looking around, and am going to begin working on the 'Core Lies' study. I know I need it!
Here's my best effort:
"Waking you up [with (or) to] God's comforting Love, Warming your Spirit with truths to set [you] free!"
I also like Mom E's (from above):
...awakening your senses with the sweet aroma of God's grace...
Thanking God for your heart to nurture and share the 'real' stuff that makes this journey better and draws us even closer to Him.
In His Love,
Melissa
Just a few ideas off the top of my head.
Inspiration.. the aroma that lingers
"thinking coffee"
Encouragement for life's journey together.
Find a blessing, be a blessing.
Here are some I thought of today while sitting outside on the grass with my cup of coffee:
*Freshly Brewed Encouragement
*Encouragement (hope? inspiration?) for the Daily Grind
*Percolating Grace to Start the Day
Your tag line has gotta have something to do with brewing, grinding, percolating, steaming, creamy, foamy, sweet, dark and rich goodness. :)
