Unplugged - Updated

I unplugged...sort of...mostly!

For me, I realized more that when I intentionally focus on "no computer" I spend more time on the "details." I make a nice breakfast for the kids, sit with them at the table and talk with them more. I try to do these things anyway, but I'm not as fully engaged...I want to be.

Thank you Kimba for this great idea!

I just wanted to say thank you for all of the prayers. It was so encouraging to hear my phone ding and see that a blogging friend was praying.

What a great idea. This is exactly what's been on my mind and what I wrote about on my blog just yesterday!

I love the un-plugged day-today I can't, but this weekend I am not even going to turn on my computer. :) ahh, that will be nice :)

I unplugged yesterday too. The hardest part was the time when I usually blog before the kids get up. So there I was coffee in hand and no where to go. Can you picture me wandering around the house with my coffee cup? LOL. Like a dog with a bone!
HUGS to you my friend.

Somehow I missed this challenge - but strangly enough, the Lord led our family to have what we called an "Unplugged" day on Saturday the 28th! We went without any "electronic" device all day, and it was wonderful! My two preteens enjoyed each other's company, and we spent a lot of time laughing and listening to each other. It was such a blessing, we're planning another "unplugged day" soon!

Often it's the "little" things that count. :) Good job!

Good for you for unplugging! I think we need to do it more often.
