Motivate Me Monday! My Life - A Postive Perspective (And Second Giveaway!)

It's Monday again (boy the weeks go fast)! This weekend I started to get a little down - how am I going to have the energy to invest in three babes, in addition to my husband and our home? Well, just as I was starting to think negatively (which always affects me), I heard the below song on the radio and it perked me right up! This is my life and it is good! I needed this song today...it has MOTIVATED me to think more positively. If you have kiddoes, take three minutes of your time and turn those speakers up - you'll feel great afterwards!

Now onto the GIVEAWAY!!! The CD giveaway from Songs for Saplings this week is Questions & Answers, Volume Two - The Fall and Salvation. To win this FABULOUS CD, link up or leave a comment. If you do both, you are entered twice - so simple, so easy, so practical - so what are you waiting for?!!

YOUR TURN!
  • Share some advice, wisdom, practical applications, tips you've learned, etc. that you think would benefit and motivate others.

*Make sure to link directly to your MMM post and then link back here!

I have always loved that song. It is easy to get down....when I start to look around at all the projects that need to be done...how many little messes get made over and over again...but you are so right, looking at how good we have it and praising God for it is usually a sure cure.
I hope you get some down time while your guest post-ers are here. Take care!!
Blessings,
Joy

Sorry, I meant to say, you don't need to enter me in the giveaway (since I live overseas), but thanks!

WHOOOOOO! I love that song! Never have heard it before I watched your video.

I can well understand your "overwhelmedness". I work fulltime (my husband's insistence), and I also have the husband and kids...oh yeah, cooking and housework! It's hard. This did motivate me. Thank you!

One of my very favorite songs as well. And, since I have a "little carrot-top that can barely walk with a sippy-cup of milk" it speaks right to me!

Remember, God never calls without enabling us. So, whatever He has called you to do (like have 3 babies, a husband, and a home to take care of), He will make it possible for you to do it!

Blessings my friend!

So I did a BIG LONG comment and you know what...my computer when crazy and it didn't go through so I am going with short and sweet this time..."just in case"! Ha!!

I have always loved that song and I think that among all the hustle and bustle of the world that HOME is definitely where my heart is! Our children are the best motivation ever!

Thanks for sharing. I have had very similar feelings as of late, but I realize that only God can give me the strength to do all these things (two wee ones, a husband, a house). Thanks for being so honest. And yes, that song is wonderful!

Oh what a sweet sweet song - thank you for sharing that! That is wonderful for a Monday morning!

On your own, you won't have the energy for everything (none of us do!), but with the Lord holding your hand, you WILL be able to do it! Praise the Lord for His help and His mercy!

Have a glorious Monday Sarah Mae! :)

Ohh that is one of my favorite songs! :)

I didn't get a chance to share this week since we just returned home from Chicago late last night. But wanted to stop in and say HI! It may take me a day or two to get back on the bandwagon of my regular blogging, lol!

Blending in another life, to a set routine, can be challenging. I know when I went from two to three, it was harder than I thought, and I am thinking it smarter this time (ie plan, do less) as I am getting ready to blend in three to four.

God is good....

I love that song and have "two carrot tops" so it makes it even more special. And as I tell them one of my favorite things is coming home to their smiling faces. It is always as refreshing as the needed get-aways. Thanks for reminding me.

I have stumbled upon your blog...and I love it. Thank you for writing. Thank you for posting that song too. I will definitely be cranking that one up as soon as my youngest wakes up. My 3 little ones keep me busy and I struggle to to be the wife and mommy God would like me to be. Praying A LOT and first thing in the morning works absolute wonders for me. Thanks again for writing. God Bless!
