Oh. My. Goodness.
There is such a thing as a chocolate-bacon hybrid. Mo's Bacon Bar. You know a preggo had to have come up with this!
Thank you Messy Nester!!!!

I was at the grocery store last night and suddenly had a craving for cauliflower and ranch dressing. As I was picking out my choice cauliflower, I noticed something I have never seen or even heard of before...BROCCOLIFLOWER! What the? Have you ever heard of it?
Apparently it's a cross between broccoli and cauliflower. Fascinating.
Do you think they make chocolateacon? You know, a chocolate and bacon hybrid? Mmmm....I could SO go for that right now...

Hahaha....I HAVE heard of brocciflower but have not heard of any research toward chocobacon!!! Must be a pregnant thang!!! ;)
I'm impressed that you were craving vegetables!!
Suzanne
I have heard of it and have had it several times on vegetable platters. Did you buy some and try it yourself? It is pretty good and a nice change. It is great with cold ranch!
I'm curious about the chocobacon. Those are two of my favorite flavors so I'd be willing to try it. I saw a cooking show the other day where they made cupcakes frosted with milk chocolate frosting and sprinkled bacon on top instead of party sprinkles.
Sarah Mae,
You sweet pregnant heart is in luck. There is such a thing.

I can't promise any healthy benifits like the broccoliflower probably has.
Enjoy! hehe!
Hi Sarah Mae,
Thanks for commenting on my blog. My daughter babysat for an 8 week old baby for about 12 hours today and she says it will be 10 or more years before she ever thinks about having one of her own. Plus, her Health Science class watched a very graphic "labor and delivery" film the other day and she was completely grossed out afterwards. She is in a health career track at our local vocational center and they count as high school credits for graduation. It is a great program and gives them the chance to work before or during college and they get scholarships and wow... the experience is endless. I'm so glad she was able to get into this.
Thanks again for stopping by my blog.
I LOVE your blog, but now I love it even more!!!! Chocolate bacon, I am not even pregnant right now but I want some.
There are some creative minds out there aren't there?!
Love the post about you and your husband.
I've seen the chocolate & bacon combo all over the place here!
