Away

My dear friends and readers, I found out recently that my mother is extremely ill with terminal cirrhosis of the liver. I will be flying to Florida tomorrow morning to be with her over the next week. Please pray...at this point, I'm not even sure how, there are so many things. Mainly, that she will come to know Jesus (I don't know exactly where she is spiritually) so that she will be with Him when she passes. (She could live for a couple months or possibly up to a year, but not in a fully aware state of mind).

Thank you.

sarah, i'm praying for you and for your mom. praying for your time with her and that she will see the love of Christ displayed in you. praying that God will give you the opportunity to speak to her and that she will have the clarity of mind to understand her need for a Savior. i will also be praying for strength, rest, and peace as you continue to carry your sweet baby during this time.

Wow Sarah...I am praying for your mom and you too.
Praying for salvation for your mom in Jesus name and a miracle to happen in her body and that the Lord watches over you and the baby you are carrying in Jesus name.
Amen.
I've seen the Lord do many miracles in my lifetime...Let go and Let God is my motto.
Peace from the Lord be with you all,

Where in Florida? Now is not a good time to be in Florida if she lives on the east coast. Not that you have a choice. We live on the east coast and we are watching Hurricane Ike very carefully. If there is anything I can do if you are any where near me please let me know. For now she will be in our prayers.
Blessings.

Mrs. Sarah,
I am praying for you and your mother! I can't imagine my mother passing away! :(
I will be praying that you will be able to present salvation to her in ways that will reach her heart and that her heart will be fertile ground so that the seed of salvation will root and will produce!
I hope your time with your mama is productive and full of memories!
HUGS!

We are lifting you up in prayer here in NC. Praying that the Holy Spirit would use you voice speak truth and comfort to your mom during this time.
That news, mixed with the uncertainty of her salvation we know has got to be difficult.

Sarah, I hope you will still like me after this but...I don't pray. I do meditate and I would be honored to meditate for your Mother, sending kindness, love and a sense of serenity her way. Would that be alright?

Sarah, I'm praying for you and your family, too! If you are up for it, check out the Hallelujah Acres Diet; many people with terminal illnesses have found healing through eating raw foods, juicing, etc. At the very least, it might help your mother to be as healthy and stable as possible for the rest of her life... www.hacres.com. Just an idea... Regardless, your love and your good news will be the most healing thing you can offer! :)

Sarah, I'll be praying for you and your mom...that you will be protected on your trip and that you will have the boldness to share Jesus with her. Isn't it "funny" that it's sometimes easier to share Him with other people than it is with our own family? I've had that conflict with sharing with my dad for years. You have so many people praying for you...rest in your heavenly Father's lap!
