For those who know me, I have a little bit of a twisted sense of humor. One of the ways this comes out is that I want a pink flamingo in my yard, but my husband won't let me. (You already know this if you've read all about
my riveting life).
The other day, however, my dream became a reality when a package came in the mail...
PINK FLAMINGOS!!!! Two of them...perfectly
gaudy, just the way I like it!
This is me calling my dad and singing
The Wind Beneath My Wings to him because, well, he's my hero, he sent me pink flamingos!
Isn't my "sick" hair
so cute?! Life is good. :)

How fun! My mom LOVES pink flamingos, but she doesn't have any in her yard.
Aw. Who can resist those guys?
I have a daddy like that too. How sweet. And yes, actually, you look great for being sick. Hopefully you're just a few weeks away from it lifting. In the mean time, I have been catching up on my cleaning. :)
I think you look great for feeling icky! And I heart your t-shirt!
woohoo! yay for pink flamingos! are they in the yard yet? lol!
hope you are feeling well today!
Living in Florida you have a tendency to see people with pink flamingo obsessions, my friend is one of them. All over her yard she had them. She recently moved to North Carolina so I'm not so sure how they are going to be accepted up there lol. You go girl.
Blessings,
Kim
Those are cute and only a little gaudy.
Wow - that is such a bright shade of pink! Your dad is wonderful!
Glad you got 'em!
What a great dad and wish my sick hair looked that good!
What a sweet Daddy! I hope your yuckyness goes away quickly!
So glad you got your flamingos!! Aren't dads great?! Love your blog!
I'ma lovin' that flamingo action you've got goin' on over there! Where can I purchase some of these neon gems?
Oh too cute. Living in Florida, we see plenty of the pink flamingo syndrome, lol. I would love to see a photo of them "grazing" in your yard. :)
OMG! Thats too funny! We have a plant nursery here in Austin that has this HUGE lot, and the entire thing is covered in pink flamingos. Occasionaly througout the year they change to white for the winter, burnt orange for UT, and when the bird flu was a huge scare, they put them all down on their sides so they all looked dead! lol Gotta love 'em!
P.S. Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today and sending your ideas! I cant wait to try them all out and post the final result! :)
I need to see the photo of your lawn and the pink flameys ;)
Super cute!
You didn't look sick at all!!! Feeling those baby blues are ya? How sweet of Jesse, sending you pink flamingos!! They sure made you smile!!!
what a sweet dad!
